My son and I are coming to the Classic again this year. We had such a great time at the Type 34 dinner, we were wondering if there was going to be one this year?

Of course! It's the highlight of the VW Classic, meeting old friends, making new ones, and sharing the great stories & photo books that each owner brings to the table. If no one else organizes it then I'll do it. The Claim Jumper in Irvine is a great place to meet (again), with lots of safe parking for the T34s, big bar, and great huge portions for dinner.

Lee, last year we had problems getting tables/ reservations for a large group at Claim Jumper so we went to El Torito near the Crowne Plaza hotel. Maybe we could find a place that will take a group reservation. I'll be there no matter what the plan or place is. Big Grin

Not quite what I was going for, just wanted to give you you the FYI since you had to work last year and were unable to attend. So do you like Cheesecake Factory, Ruby's Diner, El Torito, Ruth Chris's Steakhouse or??? I'm happy to help where I can. Laughing Out Loud
