Hi guys, got a bit of an interesting question regarding early style (wide 5 bolt pattern) wheels.
At some point a safety bead was added to the wheel - this is a bead that prevents the tyre from popping off of the inside of the rim, I'm trying to determine which year this was added. Does anyone know?
You can easily see the bead by looking a the wheel.
Also trying to figure out if this type of wheel was ever supplied on the Beetle range.
Cheers.
Mick.
