Has anyone purchased patch panels from www.karmannghia.de? I'm considering purchasing a repair panel left side, their part number 809159343. I'd like to know about the general fit and what shipping charges were like. I have a message in to them, but no response in a couple of days.

For my other side I purchased a NOS quarter panel from VW of America so it was a non-issue about the fit.

I bought my outside rockers panels, quarter and rear wheel metal from karmannghia.de (Rudiger Huber). The shipping was fairly expensive, and it took awhile to get, but alot of that is due to the shape.
He will try to get the best price he can. If you can pair it with another order and share the cost you would be better off.

Heres the work in progress. The metal has been welded on, but the body work has not begun at this point.
